The Servant of God Fr. Carlo Della Torre. Salesian missionary priest

Founder of the Daughter of the Queenship, under Phramaemaree Schools include Holy Mary School Udonthani.

 Fr. Carlo Della Torre was born on 9 July 1900 at Cernusco, Milan, Italy. At 16 he was recruited and served his country during the First world War, during which Carlo came to know the essence of Christian life. He always says "Live a short life is better than a long life but rotten in soul."

After finishing his military service, in 1923 he decided to go to the Missionary Seminary in Ivrea, Italy.
In 1926 he was sent to Macau, China, and he moved to Thailand in 1927.
In 1936 he was ordained priest and appionted to take charge of the Church of Our Lade of Sorrow at Thamuang, Kanchanaburi Province.
He served the Catholics in this church for 12 years in the time of the Second World War with much love and dedication in his role of a pastor, following the example of Christ.

In 1954 he founded the Institute of "The Daughters of the Queenship of Mary Immaculate", for the savation of souls. He also founded all schools under "Phramaemaree School" aiming to serve young people in their studies and formations in the Christian spirit.

He died a holy man on 4 April 1982. On 14 July 2013 he was honored by the Catholic Church as "Servant of God" which is the title in the process of beatification and canonization.
